Chinese Cabbage Seeds
Variety originated in Japan. An early maturing, full-sized Napa-type cabbage. Adapts to a wide range of growing conditions. Attractive, tightly packed barrel-shaped heads weighing around 2 kg (4.4 lb). Crisp bright white and rich green leaves have a pleasant mild taste. Matures in 65-80 days.
How to Grow
Start seed indoors in a sterile growing medium 6 weeks before plant out or sow direct in late May and early June.
Planting Depth: 6-12.5 mm (1/4-1/2”). Seed Spacing: 2.5 cm (1”). Transplant to: 45 cm (18”). Row Width: 75 cm (30”).
COMMENTS: Extensively used in Oriental cooking and a must for stir-fries. Popular raw in salads.
