Prayer Plant

Maranta leuconeura

Stunning patterned leaves cover this interesting plant. These leaves actually fold up at night like a pair of praying hands. Its growth habit tends to be low and horizontal. They tend to like bright indirect light no full sun. They can tolerate lower light areas. As for watering, they tend to not like to be dry but be careful not to let the roots get soggy from overwatering.  This is a fairly easy to grow plant once you get the hang of it.
