The Siberian Squill, or Blue Squill, is an early compact dwarf wildflower that pairs wonderfully with early daffodils. Greeting you with its sky blue blooms the Scilla Siberica creates a little army of petite umbrella shaped blooms in the early spring.
One of the best naturalizers for Canadian gardens, it is ideal as an edging for mixed borders or as a rockery subject naturalizing easily in the landscape, spreading gently over the years. Siberian Squill is hardy and with time will create a gorgeous sea of blue in a lawn, under shrubs and beneath deciduous trees, flowering year after year with grace and ease.

Bloom Time: Early Spring
Light Requirements: Full sun to partial shade
Planting: Follow the rule of thumb when planting bulbs, giving the bulbs at least 2 times their height of soil above them. Dig a 2-3 inch hole, drop the bulb into it and cover with lose soil. Plant approx 4" apart.
