Our Smiths Falls location is open for online orders/ curbside pick up but closed for walk ins and in store shopping until March 1st . 

Our Brockville location is closed for the season reopening Spring 2021 at new location 885 Stewart Blvd.


To do our best to follow the government regulations and safe distancing requirements, as well as protect our customers and staff, we kindly require that:

1. our customers wear masks when they visit us, if you do not have one please ask one of our staff for a mask.

2. everyone respects the physical distance guidelines of at least 2 meters / 6 feet while visiting us.

Any announcements, as they are required, will be made via our newsletter & social media.

Orders can be placed online or by calling us at the Smiths Falls location.
Depending on how you order, your payments will be processed either online or over the phone.

Contactless Parking Lot Pick Up
At our Smiths Falls location, we have the option of "Contactless Parking Lot Pick Up", to help you get the plants & supplies you need. Being discerning plant lovers ourselves we will choose only the best quality plants for you. Please indicate during the online checkout process that you would like a "Contactless Parking Lot Pick Up" & call us when you arrive (you will choose a pick up date and time during your checkout) and we will bring your order out to your car.

Note: The Brockville Location is only open on Thursdays from 1pm to 5pm for pick up of orders placed via our website or on the phone at our Smiths Falls location.  Our Brockville location will be fully closed for the season on Dec 17, 2020 and will reopen 7 days a week in the Spring of 2021. Please note, Brockville has a NEW LOCATION located at 8085 Stewart Blvd, Brockville, ON, K6V 5T4. 

  • When Will My Order Be Ready for Pick Up?

    During the online checkout process, you will choose a date and time to pick up your order. Please arrive at your chosen time with your order number and advise our staff at the cash that you are here to pick up your order. 

    Any orders not picked up at the allotted time will be restocked and your order will be refunded.

  • Where & How Do I Pick Up My Order?

    Please bring your order number with you on your chosen pick up date and time and advise our staff at the cash that you are here to pick up your order.

Being discerning plant lovers ourselves we will choose only the best quality plants for you.   • What Happens If I Have More Than One Order?

    If you place another order and would like to pick up all of your orders at the same time we require that you include the following information during checkout for any past orders that you would like to combine with your current order. 

    1. all previous order numbers 
    2. all previous pick up dates & times

    ...and we will do our best to combine your orders. If this information is not provided during checkout we will be unable to combine your orders.

    The pick up date and time will be the date you chose on your most recent order (your final order). 

    Please be aware that you can only combine orders that are placed under the same name and address.

  • Pick & Care Service: Can I Order Items Now & Pick the Items Up in a Week or Two (or more)?

    During the online checkout process you get to choose your pick up date and time that can occur anywhere from the next day to up to 2 weeks away.  

    Can I Pick Up My Order More Than 2 Weeks Away?
    Unfortunately at this time we are unable to accommodate anything beyond 2 weeks.

NEW! Brockville Location

Online ordering with curb side pick up is available at our NEW! Brockville location on Thursdays from 1pm to 5pm until Dec 17, 2020. After that date we will be closed for the season and will reopen in the Spring of 2021. 

Shopping Online is Here!

Our new online store is here and you can now place your order online and choose your date and pick up time.  At this time you can choose anywhere from next day pick up to 2 weeks away. We expect that this may change during the Spring and thank you in advance for your understanding.

As there are thousands of items in a garden centre, we are still in the process of adding all of our items to our online store and although we are working on it every day, it is going to take a bit of time. In the meantime, if after using our search tool you are unable to find something specific, or if our FAQ section doesn't answer your question, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

  • Do You Offer Delivery?

    We are pleased to announce that we now offer delivery within 30km of our Smiths Falls Location! When placing your order online, if the delivery address is within the 30km radius,  you will now be able to choose the delivery option and the delivery fee will be calculated based on the actual distance. 

    At this time we do not offer delivery services within Brockville however we do offer pick ups at our New Brockville location for orders placed online. Pick ups are available on Thursdays from 1pm to 5pm until Dec 17, 2020. 

    Note: We do not ship our items via parcel mail.

  • Plant Availability

    We continue to add more items to our online shop as they become available. Please check back often. 

  • I Can't Find the Products I'm Looking For

    The search feature is located throughout the website and can be found in:

    • the top of the website in the navigation bar
    • the bottom of the website
    • on the right hand side, depending on which page you are on.
    This feature will allow you to easily find the products you are looking for. We are adding products daily however if there is something you need right away please call or message and we will be happy to help. We will try to get back to you within 2 business days.

    Only a certain number of customers will be allowed in the store at a time and all carts will be sanitized in between each use.

    2. our customers wear masks when they visit us, if you do not have one please ask one of our staff for a mask

    3. everyone respects the physical distance guidelines of at least 2 meters / 6 feet while shopping and waiting in line.

    Only a certain number of customers will be allowed in the store at a time and all carts will be sanitized in between each use.

    More announcements, as they are ready, will be made via our newsletter & social media soon.

  • Update: May 6, 2020

    While we're encouraged by the steps we've made to flatten the curve it's clear we're on the right path but it's still too early to consider re-opening.
    We miss seeing you here, for plants or just a browse.

    The safety of our staff and community are paramount to us so for now, the greenhouse remains closed for retail sales to do our part in helping control the spread of COVID-19. The health and safety of our wonderful staff & customers is far too important to us. Many customers have asked us what will happen going forward, and at this point, like yourselves, we do not know what the future will bring. Until such time as we are able to safely open again, we are doing sales through our online shop with curb side pickup.   • Update: May 11, 2020

    Changes are coming AGAIN! We are excited to announce that both our Smiths Falls & Brockville locations will be open to the public as of this Friday, May 15 and you can now skip the long lines by pre-booking your in store shopping appointment!

    To do our best to follow the government guidelines and safe distancing requirements, as well as protect our customers and staff, we are kindly requesting that:

    1. payments be made by debit or credit only

    2. our customers wear masks when they visit us

    3. everyone respects the physical distance guidelines of at least 2 meters / 6 feet while shopping and waiting in line.

    4. only one person per family / per appt. time, and that no children accompany you into Gemmells

    We understand that some exceptions will be required. If you need to have someone with you, please make a second appt. for them during the same time slot.

    Additionally, only a certain number of customers will be allowed in the store at a time and all carts will be sanitized in between each use.
