Please Note: Due to the volume of orders, a minimum order of $50 is required.


WE ARE NOW PULLING PLANT ORDERS FROM THE GREENHOUSES. THIS IS GOING TO TAKE SOME TIME TO GET CAUGHT UP. AT THIS POINT, YOUR ONLINE ORDER WILL TAKE 5 to 7 BUSINESS DAYS - PLEASE WAIT FOR OUR CALL CONFIRMING YOUR ORDER IS READY, BEFORE COMING TO PICK UP YOUR ITEMS.

For the safety of our customers and staff  "Contactless Parking Lot Pick Ups" are available to help you get the plants & supplies you need. Being discerning plant lovers ourselves we will choose only the best quality plants for you.

Our Pick Up Hours for each location are listed below, we are currently not open for walk-ins:

Smiths Falls Location - Wednesday to Sunday 9am to 5pm
Brockville Location - Not available at this time.

    Both our Smiths Falls & Brockville locations are open to the public. Shopping appointments are no longer needed.

    Covid WISE

    To do our best to follow the government guidelines and safe distancing requirements, as well as protect our customers and staff, we are kindly requesting that:

    1. payments be made by debit or credit only

    2. our customers wear masks when they visit us, if you do not have one please ask one of our staff for a mask

    3. everyone respects the physical distance guidelines of at least 2 meters / 6 feet while shopping and waiting in line.

    Only a certain number of customers will be allowed in the store at a time and all carts will be sanitized in between each use.

    More announcements, as they are ready, will be made via our newsletter & social media soon.

  • Update: May 11, 2020

    Changes are coming AGAIN! We are excited to announce that both our Smiths Falls & Brockville locations will be open to the public as of this Friday, May 15 and you can now skip the long lines by pre-booking your in store shopping appointment!

    To do our best to follow the government guidelines and safe distancing requirements, as well as protect our customers and staff, we are kindly requesting that:

    1. payments be made by debit or credit only

    2. our customers wear masks when they visit us

    3. everyone respects the physical distance guidelines of at least 2 meters / 6 feet while shopping and waiting in line.

    4. only one person per family / per appt. time, and that no children accompany you into Gemmells

    We understand that some exceptions will be required. If you need to have someone with you, please make a second appt. for them during the same time slot.

    Additionally, only a certain number of customers will be allowed in the store at a time and all carts will be sanitized in between each use.

  • Update: May 6, 2020

    While we're encouraged by the steps we've made to flatten the curve it's clear we're on the right path but it's still too early to consider re-opening.
    We miss seeing you here, for plants or just a browse.

    The safety of our staff and community are paramount to us so for now, the greenhouse remains closed for retail sales to do our part in helping control the spread of COVID-19. The health and safety of our wonderful staff & customers is far too important to us. Many customers have asked us what will happen going forward, and at this point, like yourselves, we do not know what the future will bring. Until such time as we are able to safely open again, we are doing sales through our online shop with curb side pickup. Smiths Falls Curbside Contactless Pick Up

Online orders take priority over orders placed over the phone.
We will do our best to put together your order within 5 to 7 business days and will call you when it is ready. ORDERS MUST BE PICKED UP ASAP after receiving your phone call. 
We are just not able to hold orders. If you can't come to pick up your order with 1 day of being called then please wait to place your order. Orders left for more than 2 days after receiving your pickup call will be restocked and refunded.

We will do our best to put together your order within 5 to 7 business days and will call you when it is ready. Please pick up your contactless order ASAP after receiving your phone call.

  • When Will My Order Be Ready for Pick Up?

    We will call you when your order is ready for pick up, usually within 5-7 business days.

    You must be able to pick up your order within 1 day of receiving your pick up phone call.

    We cannot hold your order for more than one day. Consider ordering later if this may be a problem.

    Any orders left sitting here will be restocked and your order will be refunded.

  • Where & How Do I Pick Up My Order?

    Once we have called you to let you know that your order is ready for pick up at our Smiths Falls Location, please come to the front entrance, Wednesday to Sunday between the hours of 9am and 5pm, to pick up your order.

    Once you arrive, your order will be located just inside the front door with your name on it.

    Please Note: If your order consists of bags of soil / mulch, they will be located outside the main entrance door with your name on it.

  • What Happens If I Have More Than One Order?

    If you place a second order and would like to pick it up at the same time as your first order, we kindly ask that you wait to receive a phone call from us indicating that your second order is also ready for pick up. 

  • Pick & Care Service: Can I Order Items Now & Pick the Items Up in a Week or Two (or more)?

    At this time we are unable to hold orders for a pick up at a later date.

Brockville Location

Online ordering with curb side pick up is not available at this time at our Brockville location. 

  • When is the Brockville Store Opening?

    We are excited to announce that we are now open for the 2020 season at the Brockville Shopping Centre and are open Monday through Sunday from 9am to 5pm and you can skip the long lines and pre-book your in-store shopping appt here.

    Curbside delivery to Brockville is not available at this time. We will continue to share updates and stay connected through our newsletter and social media. We thank you for continuing to support our small business through these trying times. 

  • Do You Deliver to Brockville?

    At this time we are unable to offer Contactless Curb Side Delivery to Brockville at our Brockville Shopping Centre location.

Shop Online

We are in the process of building an online store. PLEASE be patient with us, we have people working on it 24/7 but there are thousands of items in a garden centre. In the meantime if our FAQ section doesn't answer your question or if after using our search tool, you are unable to find something specific, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

  • Why is the Online Shop Temporarily Unavailable?

    Did you come across either of these webpages? 

    To best serve our customers, keep our staff safe, and keep our wait times reasonable for you, at times, we need to temporarily disable online and phone in orders. But please do not worry, we will enable it again as soon as possible. We have plenty of stock and you do not need to be concerned that you won't be able to get your plants. We thank you in advance for your patience and support as we do our best to serve you.

  • Do You Offer Delivery or Shipping?

    Not at this time but we do offer contactless curbside pick up at Our Smiths Falls Location - Wednesday to Sunday 9am to 5pm.

    MAY 5th UPDATE - Your online order will take at least 5 to 7 business days to prepare. Please wait for our call confirming your order is ready before coming to pick up your items. 

  • Plant Availability

    We continue to add more items to our online shop as they become available.

    Our trees & shrubs are arriving and being restocked weekly. Please check back often. 

  • I Can't Find the Products I'm Looking For

    The search feature is located throughout the website and can be found in:

    • the top of the website in the navigation bar
    • the bottom of the website
    • on the right hand side, depending on which page you are on.
    This feature will allow you to easily find the products you are looking for. We are adding products daily however if there is something you need right away please call or email and we will be happy to help. We will try to get back to you within 2 business days.
